 Crispin Tickell served in the Diplomatic Service for many years. On his departure in 1990 he became Warden of Green College, Oxford; he remains Director of the Green College Centre for Environmental Policy and Understanding. The environment, climate and international affairs are Sir Crispin’s main interests, and he has held a wide range of offices and appointments both at home and in the US. Sir Crispin is the current Chancellor of the University of Kent.
