| Current Position: Senior Fellow (Russia and Eurasia), International Institute for Strategic Studies | Speaking in: Third Week, Michaelmas 2008 Speaking on: The Russian-Georgian War: Implications for International Security (click here for the full Termcard) | An expert in political and security issues in Russia, the Caucasus and Central Asia, Ms Antonenko's recent work has focused on security and counter-terrorist policies in Russia and Eurasia, frozen conflicts in the South Caucasus, the Shanghai Co-operation Organization, and security in Central Asia. In 2004-2005 she worked on a research project on Russian-EU relations and co-edited the book Russia and the European Union: Prospects for a New Relationship. In 2005 she facilitated conflict resolution meetings between Georgian and South Ossetian senior officials and experts. She is a graduate of Moscow State University and JF Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
